Interview on TV!
I was interviewed concerning my Agora Gallery show by Dana Davis from the local TV station KTKA 49 news for their "Good Morning Kansas" show. It aired at 6:30 a.m. today and then mentioned again during the 6:00 p.m. broadcast. Here is the link to see the story:

Why the yellow bald nudes?
This is a question that I get asked a lot. So I thought I'd answer it here.
I'm not sure where the colors come from... its compulsive, something I have to do like a calling and it hasn't gone away...in years. I accepted that fact a long time ago and so now I just set up the easel and get out the paints and allow the process to guide me to deeper understanding of myself.
I believe the bald nudes solidly reflect my inner self, or if you can better appreciate the soul symbolically. The paintings are about what is going on inside of me and I trust a lot of intuition to do its work while I'm in the passion of painting. I find that it is very cathartic and there are times I just must paint or become unbearable for those around me.
I guess you could say it serves my therapy and a way for coping with all that life throws I me and when you are looking at my pieces you are viewing my psyche. But of course, remember your reaction and interpretation is steadily reflects your own psyche in effect artist and viewer become aware of one another on some profound level.
So, I invite you dear friend sit back and enjoy the ride and welcome to the world as I see it. :)

Found Art! Keep an eye out for it!
I found this absolutely awsome site! www.foundart.org
I have decided to participate in this exciting new adventure. I'll be leaving small samples of my artwork where ever I happen to go. If you have found one of my pieces please let me know what your thoughts were. You may just stumble upon one of these pieces of artwork during your hectic day... take a few minutes and follow the instructions and feel fortunate that you found someone in the big bad world that cared enough to send out a random act of kindness through their own artwork.
The concept from the site is:
"Found Art! strives to make the world a better place right now by empowering people across to globe to share on a soul level. We believe in the power of art to communicate and heal. We believe all people are creative and that the expression of that creativity opens the heart of both the creator and the receiver. Open hearts communicate at a deeper level, are naturally more compassionate, and are more aware and concerned about our global family. "
